A free plugin for WordPress. With this plugin anyone who has a HandCash wallet can accept instant payments from other HandCash users.

About currency

The plugin detects the currency used in WooCommerce (an online shop plugin for WordPress), and if the currency is not supported by HandCash, the plugin will show a warning to the shop owner about that issue. A warning will also be shown on checkout if non-supported currency is detected. Supported currencies include:

• ARS: Argentinian Peso
• AUD: Australian Dollar
• BRL: Brazilian Real
• CAD: Canadian Dollar
• CHF: Swiss Franc
• CNY: Chinese Yuan
• COP: Colombian Peso
• CZK: Czech Koruna
• DKK: Danish Krone
• EUR: Eurozone Euro
• GBP: British Pound
• HKD: Hong Kong Dollar
• JPY: Japanese Yen
• KRW: Korean Won
• MXN: Mexican Peso
• NOK: Norwegian Krone
• NZD: New Zealand Dollar
• PHP: Philippine Peso
• RUB: Russian Ruble
• SEK: Swedish Krona
• SGD: Singapore Dollar
• THB: Thai Baht
• USD: United States Dollar
• ZAR: South African Rand

The above list of supported currencies might change.

Cashandler's role

Cashandler will relay valid payment requests from WooCommerce checkout pages to HandCash when the customer has chosen to pay with HandCash Payments method. This means certain information will pass by Cashandler service. That information includes:

• shop name^*
• item(s) description^*
• total amount
• currency code
• payment recipient
• payment expiry^**
• redirect URL^***

Data flow

After HandCash receives the information relayed to it by Cashandler, HandCash will reply with a payment URL (aka. payment address). The customer is then automatically redirected to that URL, where the customer can pay using their HandCash wallet either by scanning a QR code and confirming the payment, or by clicking a button.
